We started VL to make studying in Italy and France a real option for students from every background and budget. We chose to know two countries really well, rather than know twenty just a little, and we have spent three years in the sector building that knowledge.

Who you will be working with

VL is deliberately small. There is no call centre and no handing your file between departments: you deal with one of us from the first conversation to the day you land. We work entirely online, on calls, video and WhatsApp, so it makes no difference where in Pakistan you are.

Kashan has spent three years in Pakistan’s visa and education sector, the last of them running VL, working directly with students on counselling, university selection, admissions support and planning the year properly rather than reactively.

He handles most of the counselling side of VL: working out what a student can realistically get into, which funding routes are open to them, and what their documents need before anything is submitted.

Umer came to study abroad consultancy from teaching, and still teaches alongside his work at VL. Being in a classroom and in a counselling session in the same week gives him an unusually direct view of what students actually struggle with when they start planning.

He works with students on understanding their options, choosing a destination and a programme that fit them, and moving through admissions with more confidence than they started with.
